Happening in Hernando This Weekend November 8th - November 10th
The promise of cooler weather beckons this second weekend of November. It's the perfect weekend to get started on your holiday shopping, or to begin your Veterans Day celebrations! Head to downtown Brooksville Saturday morning to enjoy the Veterans Day Parade. Vets can eat free at the Little Lady Cafe's Veterans Day Barbecue, or skate free at The Locomo Skate Dance Party's Veterans Day Skate. Support our local veterans by participating in the K9 Partners for Patriots 5K Run/Walk, which will benefit K9 Partners for Patriots, an organization that aims to help both heal vets by providing them with fully trained service dogs. The ever-popular Feast of St. Francis Cabrini will be taking place this weekend with tons of rides, games, entertainment, food and more! If you'd rather take in a show, you can choose between Stage West's In-Laws, Outlaws & Other People (Who Should Be Shot) and Live Oak Theatre's The Little Mermaid. It's also not too late to get tickets to the 16th annual FurBall Gala, a formal event benefitting the Humane Society of the Nature Coast. We've got all that and so much more happening in Hernando County this weekend! Whatever it is you choose to do, we hope you make it a safe and eventful weekend.
We of The Hardy Team would also like to take a moment to express our eternal gratitude to the brave folks who have served our country, including those in the military or armed forces, police officers, firefighters, EMTs, and other first responders. Your courage helps keep us safe. Thanks to you (and your families) for your service.
