Happy New Year! We've made it through another year, a new decade, even. We're so grateful you've embarked on this journey with us. But is it just us who are holiday hungover?

If you're looking for something fun to kick off the first weekend of 2020, well, things might seem little sparse around town. Things are sure to pick up again soon once everyone recovers from the holiday season. In the meantime, though, that doesn't mean there's nothing to do; we've still got some great events taking place locally.

If you're looking to hit the ground running this year - literally - you can check out the Croom Zoom or Spring Hill Marathon Mania events taking place on Saturday and Sunday. You can also join Black Bear Bikes for their Bagel Shop bike ride. Not quite ready for all the cardio yet? That's okay. You can always try some Yoga in the Vines at Strong Tower Winery, or some Yoga at the Farmers Market in Brooksville. If you're looking for something a little more low-key, check out the Unplugged Family Board Game Day over at the East Hernando Branch of the public library. They'll have classics like Scrabble and Rummikub on hand. And don't forget, the Spring Hill Farmers Market is open every Saturday, the Brooksville Famers Market every Sunday, and the irport Farmers & Flea Market is open both days, every weekend. We've got all this and more happening in Hernando County. Whatever it is you choose to do, we of The Hardy Team hope you make it a safe and eventful weekend!
